Dumpster Delivery Tips and Questions
We have some great tips to get you prepared for the delivery of your dumpster. It is important to follow these tips so that we can get your dumpster dropped off to you and in a location that you are happy with. The dumpster needs to be out of the way and also accessible for your use.
- First thing you need to do is to make room for your dumpster in the location of where you want it dropped off. Recheck this area on the specific date of delivery.
- What is a good location for my dumpster?
- Keep in mind when deciding this is that the trucks need adequate room to be able to get to the spot you have choose and needs to be at least 10 feet wide. Also if a truck needs to drive across neighboring properties to get to your location, we need to have permission from the neighbor to do so.
- How do I prepare the location for the dumpster drop off?
- This spot needs to be free of vehicles or any other objects to have enough room to place your dumpster in the location you have chose.
- Make sure it is easy for our trucks to get in to the location and drop off the dumpster.
- What can I put in my dumpster? What can I not put in my dumpster?
- Residential dumpsters you can put items such as common household debris, clothing, paper items, and plastic items.
- Construction dumpsters are for heavy debris such as concrete, sheetrock and other fixtures commonly used in construction projects.
- You cannot put any type of hazardous waste in any dumpsters.
- The answer is no, you do not need to be home at the time of delivery, but please make sure your area is properly prepared for the delivery of the dumpster.
- Yes you can request a specific time for your dumpster to be delivered and we will try to accommodate that time for you.
